Job summary

Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital, Inc. is seeking an Equipment Technician for a Per Diem role in the operating room, supporting perioperative services by maintaining equipment inventory and readiness for surgical procedures.

• Able to read, understand, and write English.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with surgical team to ensure equipment is available for procedures.
• Maintains inventory with par levels and locations for staff reference.
• Checks OR schedule for equipment availability and resolves conflicts.
• Sets up rooms with necessary equipment the day/evening before surgery.
• Assists with patient care support and non-clinical operational issues.
• Maintains logs for broken equipment and coordinates repairs.
