Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• BLS Certification - Data Conversion - Various Issuers preferred; Cer.A.T preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure anesthesia carts and machines are in every room prior to surgery and between procedures.
• Replace anesthesia gas tanks as needed.
• Retrieve anesthesia supplies requested by the anesthesia provider during surgery.
• Prepare equipment and supplies for hemodynamic monitoring.
• Ensure monitoring equipment and supplies are ready for use.
• Troubleshoot and ensure anesthesia machines are ready for use.
• Daily anesthesia equipment inspections including suction, plugs, gas connections, cylinders.
