Job summary

Energy Systems Group is looking for a Performance Engineer to join our Public Sector East team with projects in New England or New York. Expect frequent travel (25–50%) including overnight stays as you collaborate with Account Executives and project managers to deliver technically sound energy solutions.

You will lead site surveys, energy-savings analyses, financial modeling, and proposal development to ensure on-time delivery and measurable energy reductions for our public sector clients.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering/technology degree required.
• 3–8 years of experience in construction or energy service field desired.

Responsibilities

• Conducts in-depth site surveys to identify inefficiencies and analyze utility bills.
• Create technical plans and communicate solutions with internal teams and customers.
• Perform energy savings calculations and life cycle cost analyses for recommendations.
• Develop financial models and present proposals to customers with projections of energy reductions.
• Coordinate with Account Executives and Project Manager to ensure successful project delivery.

Education

Bachelor’s degree from an ABET accredited Engineering/Technology program or equivalent
