Energy Systems Group, LLC is seeking a Performance Engineer to join our Public Sector East team serving New England or New York. The role requires travel 25–50%, including overnight stays.

You will be the primary technical resource, translating customer needs into accurate, actionable energy solution designs for government, K-12, higher education, and municipal clients. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an ABET accredited Engineering/Technology program or equivalent.
• 3–8 years’ experience in a construction or energy service related field.

Responsibilities

• Conducts in-depth site surveys to identify inefficiencies and analyze utility bills.
• Perform energy savings calculations, life cycle cost analysis, and feasibility studies.
• Create financial models based on customer parameters and project results.
• Coordinate with Account Executive and Project Manager to develop and present proposals to customers.
• Ensure smooth installation and serve as the technical link between operations and sales teams.
• Identify subcontractors and consultants for technical analysis and project installation.
• Approve equipment to ensure accurate estimates and on-time delivery.
• Develop measurements to guarantee energy and operational savings for customers.
