Job summary

Energy Systems Group seeks a Performance Engineer to join the Public Sector East team, working in New England or New York. This role requires frequent travel (25%–50%), including overnights, and serves as the primary technical project developer for customer solutions.

The engineer analyzes facility energy use, develops cost-effective strategies, and collaborates with project teams to ensure successful installations and measurable energy reductions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an ABET accredited Engineering/Technology program or equivalent.
• 3–8 years' experience in a construction or energy service related field.
• Experience with energy efficiency projects and cost analyses.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth site surveys to identify inefficiencies and analyze utility bills.
• Develop technical plans and solutions with contractors and communicate risk clearly.
• Perform energy savings, operational savings, and life cycle cost analyses.
• Create financial models and support proposals with Account Executives.
