Job summary

Energy Systems Group is seeking a Performance Engineer for our Public Sector East team in New England or New York. The role involves traveling 25–50% and serving as the primary technical resource to convert customer needs into concrete energy solutions.

You will conduct site surveys, perform energy and financial analyses, develop technical plans, and support proposals and installations to ensure customer success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an ABET-accredited Engineering/Technology program or equivalent.
• Three (3) to eight (8) years' experience in a construction or energy service related field.

Responsibilities

• Conducts site surveys to identify mechanical and operating inefficiencies and analyzes utility bills and financials.
• Creates technical plans and communicates solutions clearly to internal teams, subcontractors, and customers.
• Performs energy savings calculations, life cycle cost analysis, and feasibility analysis of recommendations.
• Develops financial models based on client parameters and project results.
• Coordinates proposals with Account Executives and Project Managers and supports smooth installations.
