Job summary

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains medical equipment for surgical procedures.
• Assist in setting up operating room and sterile supplies.
• Observe and support the surgical team during procedures.
• Transport patients to the operating room and assist with positioning.
• Help count sponges, needles and other supplies; dispose of specimens as needed.
• Maintain patient safety and adhere to hospital regulations.
