Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc. is seeking a full-time Surgical Technologist to assist in operating rooms under the supervision of surgeons and registered nurses.

Responsibilities include preparing equipment, setting up instruments, and aiding the team during pre- and post-operative procedures. CPR certification with 0-2 years of related clinical experience is required; an accredited surgical technologist program is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be CPR certified with 0-2 years of clinical experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains medical equipment for surgical procedures.
• Set up instruments, equipment, sterile drapes and solutions for surgery.
• Tends to the patient during pre-operation and assists the surgical team.
• Prepare patient skin, body and equipment for operation.
• Assemble and check sterile and non-sterile equipment.
• Prepare patients for surgery and assist in positioning and draping.
• Observe vitals and assist with gowns and gloves.
• Pass instruments and supplies to surgeons and assistants.
• Care for specimens and assist with dressings.
