Job summary

Sienna Nursing & Rehabilitation in Texas is seeking a Per Diem Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our in-house team serving residents with person-centered care to achieve positive outcomes.

The role requires active Texas license and ASHA certification; responsibilities include evaluating swallowing and cognitive deficits, developing individualized treatment plans, implementing AAC, collaborating with care staff, and ensuring accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Active Texas license in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current ASHA Certification.
• In good standing with regulatory agencies and licensing boards.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents for swallowing or cognitive deficits.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to increase independence.
• Provide AAC systems for severe expressive and/or language disorders.
• Coordinate and collaborate with other professionals for diagnostic swallowing procedures (MBSS, FEES).
• Maintain accurate billing records and clinical documentation.
