Zusammenfassung

Sienna Nursing is seeking a Per Diem Speech Language Pathologist to join our in-house team serving residents with person-centered care. You will evaluate swallowing and cognitive abilities, develop treatment plans, and provide AAC solutions, education, and collaboration with caregivers and staff.

Active Texas licensure and ASHA certification are required. Prior SNF/long-term care experience is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Active Texas license in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current ASHA Certification.
• In good standing with regulatory agencies and licensing boards.

Aufgaben

• Evaluate residents' swallowing or cognitive deficits.
• Help residents in goals to improve cognition or swallowing.
• Provide skilled, medically necessary speech and language therapy assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Provide AAC systems for individuals with severe expressive and/or language comprehension disorders.
• Provide training to clients, family, caregivers, and other professionals.
• Coordinate with other professionals for diagnostic swallowing procedures as ordered by physician.
• Demonstrate competent technical skills according to current Speech Therapy standards of practice.
