Job summary

Bluebonnet Nursing & Rehabilitation seeks a Per Diem Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our in-house team serving residents with person-centered care. The role focuses on evaluating swallowing/cognition, developing treatment plans, and delivering AAC solutions to improve independence.

Active Texas license in Speech-Language Pathology and ASHA Certification are required; experience in SNF/long-term care is preferred. New grads welcome and flexible scheduling available.

Qualifications

• SNF/Long term care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of current treatment practices in speech-language pathology.
• Familiarity with Net Health Electronic Documentation System is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents for swallowing or cognitive deficits.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide AAC systems andeducation to residents and caregivers.
• Coordinate with other professionals for swallowing procedures as ordered.
• Maintain accurate billing records and clinical documentation.
