Job summary

Responsibilities include performing PFTs (FVL, FVC, DLCO, MVV), conducting CPET, maintaining equipment, and coordinating testing schedules. Requires NYS respiratory therapy credentials and CPFT within 12 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in respiratory care required by NYS Board for Respiratory Therapy.
• NY State Registered Respiratory Therapist license or CRT with CPFT within a year of hire required.
• Computer skills for pulmonary function software and Windows OS.

Responsibilities

• Performs Pulmonary Function Testing (FVL, FVC, Lung Volumes, DLCO, MVV).
• Performs Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing.
• Maintains testing equipment and paperwork for interpretation of tests.
• Schedules patients and coordinates with Pharmacy for Provocation testing.
