UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Per Diem Physical Therapist Assistant to perform treatment, provide exercise instruction, and patient education under a supervising Physical Therapist in a home health setting. The role requires adherence to plan of care and effective coordination with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities include instructing patients in exercises, observing progress, and communicating changes to the PT and nursing staff.

Qualifikationen

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in state of practice.
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
• Available to work a weekend rotation.

Aufgaben

• Following all state laws governing physical therapy in home care, work only as defined by the supervising PT.
• Instructs and aids patients in active and passive exercise, gait, and mobility.
• Observes and reports patient response to treatment to the supervising PT and care team.
• Instructs patient and family in therapy within the scope of the PTA.
• Function in any home setting regardless of client demographics.
