Job summary

Caretenders Home Health, part of the LHC Group within the Optum family, is seeking an Occupational Therapist Assistant - Per Diem to provide in-home OT services and help patients regain function. You will work under a supervising OT and follow state regulations while supporting patients and families in their homes.

Responsibilities include implementing the plan of care, educating families, and documenting patient progress.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Occupational Therapy Assistant license in the practice state.
• Current CPR certification preferred or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Eligible to work in home health settings with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy to patients in their homes under supervisory OT.
• Follow the plan of care and state-specific OT guidelines.
• Record patient responses and report changes to supervisor and physician.
• Instruct patients, families, and caregivers in therapy techniques.
• Adapt therapy to diverse home environments and patient needs.
