Job summary

Sierra Medical Center, part of Northern Nevada Health System, seeks a per diem Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat adolescent to geriatric patients in a collaborative hospital setting in Reno, Nevada.

You will develop treatment plans, work with a multidisciplinary team, provide staff education, and contribute to program development while upholding compassionate care and quality outcomes. A state license and BLS are required, with new grads welcome.

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapy licensure in the state is required.
• Acute care experience is required; new grads welcome with training.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients and develops treatment plans and goals, monitors progress.
• Reports progress to staff, patients, and families; participates in care meetings.
• Documents progress and discharge plans, with measurable objectives.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team; provides staff supervision as needed.
• Coordinates patient care and schedules; uses modalities to aid discharge.
• Participates in staff education and program development.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
