Job summary

Northwest Specialty Hospital, an extension of Northern Nevada Medical Center, seeks a dynamic Physical Therapist for our NEW 22 bed Acute Rehab Hospital in Northwest Reno. This per diem role offers a $2,000 sign-on bonus and day shift coverage in a cutting-edge rehab facility.

You will evaluate, plan, direct and administer PT modalities under physician orders, helping patients recover from stroke, spinal injuries and more while striving for maximum independence and function.

Qualifications

• Current State Physical Therapy Licensure.
• Three (3) or more years of previous experience in all aspects of physical therapy, preferred.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise therapy department staff including therapy assistants and aides.
• Evaluate treatment effect and recommend changes to physician as needed.
• Assess patients and perform reassessments as per policy for geriatric and adult populations.
