Job summary

Northwest Specialty Hospital is hiring a per diem Physical Therapist for its NEW 22-bed Acute Rehab Hospital in Northwest Reno. The role involves evaluating and treating adults after stroke or injury, coordinating with a rehab team and ensuring compliant documentation.

Per diem, day shift, with a 2,000 sign-on bonus and a focus on restoring function and quality of life. You will supervise aides, perform assessments, and participate in infection control and CQI activities while delivering

Qualifications

• Current State Physical Therapy Licensure.
• Three (3) or more years of previous experience in all aspects of physical therapy, preferred.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, direct and administer physical/occupational therapy modalities for acute rehab patients.
• Provide treatments and agents as prescribed to restore function after stroke, injury or disability.
• Supervise staff, participate in CQI activities and ensure accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and ensure patient charges are entered timely.
