Job summary

Northern Nevada Health System in Reno is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a per diem role. You will administer and apply speech/language pathology treatments as prescribed by a physician and evaluate and plan care to restore function after disease or injury.

You will assist in scheduling therapy visits, participate in department CQI activities, and contribute to a compassionate care environment. A $2,000 sign-on bonus may apply for per diem positions and a day shift is available.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Current State Licensure in Speech Pathology.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient evaluations and plans therapy goals upon physician referral.
• Evaluates and treats patients to restore function after injury or disease.
• Participates in infection control, CQI and department training.
