Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at Purdy Street in Easton, MD. The position is casual/per diem with hours as needed, typically Mon-Fri 6:00am-4:30pm and some weekends.

The role involves blood collection for various tests, data entry, billing, and customer service. Phlebotomy certification or training is required, with preference for 1+ year experience. Benefits and an incentive plan are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
