Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at Becks Woods Drive in Bear, DE. The role involves drawing blood from patients of all ages, collecting specimens for various tests, and ensuring accurate data entry and billing processes.

This casual/per diem position requires flexibility to work mornings, evenings, and weekends, with travel to additional sites as needed. A phlebotomy credential or training and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
