Job summary

Advocate Health's Advocate Medical Group seeks a Patient Service Representative in Park Ridge, IL for a per diem role in a Behavioral Health office. You will work 7:30 am to 5:00 pm supporting providers and patients to ensure a compassionate, seamless experience.

You will handle patient scheduling, billing information, referrals, and inquiries while upholding medical records standards within the ambulatory care team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One to two years related customer service experience.
• Experience handling difficult callers/customers/patients.

Responsibilities

• As a Patient Service Representative (PSR), you will support providers, connect with patients, and help ensure a seamless, compassionate experience.
• Provide efficient, high-quality service to patients for appointments, tests, referrals, and billing information.
• Assist with accurate and timely medical records and billing information as part of the ambulatory care team.
