Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Registration Representative for Clinton, MA on a per-diem, second and third shift. You will handle scheduling, patient check-in, insurance verification, and basic clerical tasks to support admissions across multiple departments.

The role requires a High School Diploma (Associate/Bachelor preferred) and the ability to train in Worcester for several days. Per diem schedule; expected 2–4 shifts monthly; on-site with weekend coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required; an associates or bachelor’s degree in business or healthcare is preferred.
• Per-diem role with a minimum 2–4 shifts per month; two shifts guaranteed monthly; flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Enter Lab, Radiology and basic ancillary service appointments for scheduling.
• Verify patient insurance, obtain referrals and pre-authorizations as needed.
• Collect patient liabilities prior to or on the date of service.
• Provide clerical support, schedule appointments, and maintain records.
