Virtua Health in Mount Holly, NJ is seeking a Per Diem, Part-Time patient care aide to support RN/LPN in daily activities, vital signs, and basic clinical tasks. The role includes phlebotomy and EKG tasks where certified, with a focus on compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a PCT course or CNA program.
• BLS certification required.
• Strong communication skills.
• Phlebotomy training/experience required for the Emergency Department positions.

Responsabilités

• Assist with activities of daily living under RN/LPN supervision.
• Take vital signs, document findings, and support care plans.
• Perform point-of-care testing when directed.
• Carry out phlebotomy and EKGs if certified.
• Identify and communicate changes in patient status to the nursing team.
• Support education of patients and families on care needs and safety.
