Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking a Per Diem Patient Care Technician to assist with activities of daily living under RN/LPN supervision at Voorhees, NJ. You will communicate with the healthcare team, help with mobility and daily tasks, and ensure safety and comfort for patients.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and completion of a PCT, CNA, or equivalent program. BLS is preferred; phlebotomy and EKG skills are a plus. This on-site role offers a variety of benefits and shift options.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates basic patient care skills and procedures.
• Strong communication with patients, families and team members.
• Ability to support RN/LPN and follow care plans.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, mobility.
• Perform vital signs, point-of-care testing, bladder scanning, and Foley care as directed.
• May assist with phlebotomy and EKGs if certified.
• Identify changes in patient status and report to RN/LPN.
• Support patient education and safety; participate in QI activities.
