Job summary

Virtua Health is hiring for a part-time, per diem position in Mount Holly, NJ. The role focuses on assisting with activities of daily living, vital signs, phlebotomy, and EKGs when certified. You will support the nursing team and participate in patient education in a night-shift setting.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates required knowledge of basic patient care skills, procedures and standards.
• Must have strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supports activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding and mobility.
• Performs vital signs, point-of-care testing and basic nursing tasks as directed by RN/LPN.
• May perform phlebotomy and ECGs if certified.
• Communicates changes in patient status to the nursing team.
• Reinforces patient and family education regarding care needs and safety.
