Virtua Health in Mount Holly, NJ is seeking a part-time Patient Care Technician (PCT) to assist with activities of daily living under RN/LPN supervision. The role supports a care team, communicates with patients and families, and maintains high professional standards.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, PCT/CNA training, and BLS certification. Phlebotomy or EKG skills are a plus for ED placements. On-site with a diverse benefits package available.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates knowledge of basic patient care skills, procedures and standards.
• Must have strong communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Assists with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, feeding, toileting and mobility.
• Follows standard precautions and safe patient practices, including isolation when required.
• Performs phlebotomy and EKGs if certified, and assists with vital signs and care documentation.
• Identifies and communicates changes in patient status to RN/LPN.
• Supports patient education and family involvement.
• Contributes to patient satisfaction initiatives and performance improvement.
• Assists in orientation of new hires.
