Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking a per diem 2N/PCU aide at Mt. Holly to assist with patients' daily living activities under RN/LPN supervision. You will support the healthcare team, maintain hygiene, safety, and communication with families, and help ensure quality care in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires at least a high school diploma or GED, completion of a PCT/nursing/CNA program or 1 year of direct patient care, and BLS certification. Phlebotomy/EKG skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and basic patient care knowledge.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completed a PCT course, RN fundamentals course, CNA program, or 1 year direct patient care experience.
• BLS certification; phlebotomy training may be required for some ED positions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, mobility).
• Monitor vital signs, perform point-of-care tests, bladder scanning, and Foley care as directed.
• May perform phlebotomy and EKGs if certified.
• Communicate changes in patient status to RN/LPN and document appropriately.
• Support patient education and safety alongside the healthcare team.
