AtlantiCare in New Jersey is seeking a Per Diem Patient Care Technician for 12-hour shifts starting at 6am and 6pm to support the patient care team. The role requires a high school diploma, BLS certification within 30 days, CPI training within 1 year, and English language proficiency; prior patient care experience or enrollment in a nursing program is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent required.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required within 30 days of hire or transfer.
• CPI training required within 1 year of hire or transfer (or by 10/31/25 for existing employees).
• Experience: English language proficiency required; bilingual preferred; 8+ weeks of patient care education or direct care experience; or enrollment in nursing/physician assistant program.

Responsibilities

• Direct and indirect patient care under supervision of licensed personnel.
• Assist patients with personal care and participate in the plan of care.
• Collect test specimens and perform limited lab duties as directed; document results for clinicians.
