Job summary

Valley View Home Health, part of the LHC Group and Optum family, is seeking a Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant - Per Diem to provide in-home occupational therapy to patients. Work under the supervision of a licensed OT to help patients regain physical function and independence.

You will follow state laws and the plan of care, document patient progress, and educate families and caregivers on therapy techniques.

Qualifications

• Must hold OTA licensure in state of practice.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance or reliable access to transportation.
• National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy certification in NV and other listed states is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to home health patients under supervision of OT.
• Follow state regulations and the plan of care defined by supervising OT.
• Observe and report patient progress to supervisor and physician.
• Educate patient, family, and caregivers on therapy activities within scope.
• Demonstrate respect and adaptability in diverse home environments.
