Job summary

Idaho Home Health, part of the LHC Group and Optum family, is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide in-home therapy services. You will implement treatment plans under the supervision of an OT and support patients in regaining daily living skills.

Responsibilities include following state law, documenting patient progress, and educating families. Per diem position with competitive pay and benefits dependent on eligibility.

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in state of practice.
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws governing in-home occupational therapy and implement treatment plans under supervision.
• Instructs and aids patients in evidence-based treatment within scope and state guidelines.
• Observe, record, and report patient responses and changes to the nurse supervisor and physician.
