Ohio's Choice Home Health, a part of LHC Group and Optum family, seeks an Occupational Therapy Assistant - Per Diem to provide in-home occupational therapy to patients in their homes, restoring them to their fullest physical ability.

Responsibilities include following state laws, executing the plan of care with supervising OT, documenting patient responses, and educating patients, families, and caregivers. Per diem schedule with competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifikationen

• Current Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in state of practice
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation
• Preferred CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment

Aufgaben

• Provide occupational therapy to patients in their homes to restore fullest physical ability
• Follow state laws and the plan of care defined by supervising OT
• Observe, record, and report patient responses and changes to care to supervisor/physician
• Instruct patient, family, caregiver and healthcare team in therapy areas within the OTA scope
• Function in diverse home situations with respect to all patients' backgrounds
