Job summary

North Idaho Home Health, part of the LHC Group and Optum family, is seeking an Occupational Therapist Assistant for per diem work in patients' homes. You will deliver evidence-based therapy under supervision to restore patients' physical abilities and support families in the home setting.

Responsibilities include applying treatment plans, documenting progress, and coordinating with the supervising OT, nurse, and physicians.

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in Idaho.
• Current driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
• Must be certified and in good standing with NBCOT: ID.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy to patients in their homes under supervision of an OT.
• Follow and implement the plan of care and evidence-based treatment.
• Observe, document, and report patient responses and condition changes.
• Educate patient, family, and care team on therapy within scope.
• Function effectively in diverse home environments.
