North Idaho Home Health, part of LHC Group and aligned with Optum, is hiring an Occupational Therapist Assistant - Per Diem to provide in-home therapy, restoring patients to their fullest abilities.

You will follow state laws, work under supervision of an OT, educate patients and families, document progress, and adapt to diverse home environments; CPR preferred, Idaho licensure current, reliable transportation required.

Formación

• Current Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in Idaho.
• Must be certified and in good standing with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT): ID.
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment (preferred).

Responsabilidades

• Follow state-specific laws governing home occupational therapy; follow treatment defined by supervising OT.
• Instructs and aids patients in evidence-based therapy within OTA scope and state laws.
• Observes, records, and reports patient responses to treatment to nurse supervisor and physician.
• Instructs patient, family, caregiver, and other health care team members in therapy areas within OTA scope.
• Function in home settings regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition.
