Job summary

Hawthorne Health, Inc. is expanding its Home Network by adding dual-credentialed Cardiac and Vascular Sonographers to work per diem across the United States. You will travel to patient homes to perform in-home imaging studies using portable ultrasound equipment.

This independent contractor role offers per-visit compensation, travel reimbursements, and flexible regional scheduling. Candidates must hold RDCS/RVT and BLS, have a valid license, and be comfortable working in non-clinical settings.

Qualifications

• Active registration in cardiac imaging (RDCS/RVT).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel regionally / locally.
• Ability to work independently in non-traditional settings.

Responsibilities

• Travel to patient homes to conduct echocardiograms and vascular imaging visits.
• Set up portable ultrasound equipment in home environments.
• Explain procedures and obtain informed cooperation from participants.
• Perform echocardiograms and vascular imaging per protocol.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety during imaging.
• Follow sponsor/protocol imaging guidelines.
• Ensure accurate image labeling for review.
• Complete preliminary report with measurements.
• Maintain ASE standards in image quality.
• Troubleshoot imaging equipment as needed.
