Zusammenfassung

HomeCall, part of the LHC Group within the Optum family, seeks a Per Diem Physical Therapist Assistant to support patients at home under supervising PT.

You will provide treatment, guide active and passive exercises, educate patients and families, and document responses while coordinating with the health care team. This role requires weekend availability, a valid PT assistant license, and a commitment to safe, compassionate care in diverse home settings.

Qualifikationen

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in state of practice.
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance; access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
• Available to work a weekend rotation.
• Preferred: CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire.

Aufgaben

• Following state laws governing home care and perform only those procedures defined by the supervising PT.
• Instructs and aids patients in active and passive exercise, gait, ADL, and mobility training.
• Observes and reports patient responses to treatment and coordinates care with the health care team.
• Educates patient, family, caregiver, and other health care team members on therapy within the PTA scope.
• Function in diverse home settings regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, or disability.
