Job summary

At Home Healthcare, part of the UnitedHealth/LHC Group family, is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to support home-based care. You will implement the plan of care, educate patients and families, and work under the supervising Physical Therapist to optimize patient well-being.

Responsibilities include patient instruction, growth in functional activities, and coordination with the care team. Weekend availability is required; valid PT licensure is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in state of practice.
• Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.

Responsibilities

• Follow state-specific laws governing provision of physical therapy in home care and implement treatment per supervising PT's plan.
• Instruct and assist patients with active and passive exercises, gait, ADL, transfer, safety, and mobility tasks.
