Job summary

UnitedHealth Group seeks a Per Diem Physical Therapist Assistant to deliver treatment and patient education under a supervising PT. You will guide exercise programs, monitor responses, and coordinate with the healthcare team in home care settings.

Qualifications

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in state of practice.
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
• Available to work a weekend rotation.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws and supervise plan of care with PT oversight.
• Instruct patients in active and passive exercise and mobility training.
• Observe and report patient responses to treatment and coordinate care.
• Educate patient, family, and team on therapy plans within PTA scope.
• Function in diverse home settings respecting all patients.
