Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Per Diem Physical Therapist (PT) to deliver skilled PT services to patients in their homes throughout Missouri, promoting mobility, restoring function, and improving safety and independence. You will work with patients, caregivers, and an interdisciplinary team to support recovery and reduce hospitalizations.

The PRN role offers per-visit and hourly pay, with total cash target pay ranging from $77,490 to $116,235 annually, depending on productivity and hours.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program.
• Current license to practice physical therapy in the assigned state.
• Current CPR certification.
• 1+ year of related PT experience for home health; if less than a year, mentoring/approval required.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy services in patients' homes to promote mobility and independence.
• Perform reexaminations every 30 days and discharge planning as needed.
• Collaborate with patients, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team to support recovery and safety.
