Job summary

AMEDISYS HOME HEALTH is seeking a Physical Therapist for full-time day shifts in Missouri. You will help patients move, function and heal at home, with regular reexaminations and discharge planning.

Requirements include a state PT license, CAPTE-accredited degree, CPR certification and at least one year in home health. The company offers comprehensive benefits and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice physical therapy in the assigned state.
• Graduate from CAPTE-accredited PT program.
• One year of PT experience in home health care for full readiness.
• If less than one year experience, regional leadership approval and mentoring or residency.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Help patients maintain, restore and improve movement, activity and function.
• Provide interventions, conduct reexaminations (every 30 days minimum), adjust plans and discharge planning.
• Other duties as assigned.
