Job summary

Elk Valley, part of UnitedHealth Group, seeks a Per Diem Aide to provide personal care and support for clients in their homes, helping with daily living activities and coordinating with care teams.

The role offers flexibility, a pay range of $13.00 to $20.00 per hour, and opportunities to grow in home health. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required, with EVV documentation used.

Qualifications

• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation or access to public transit.
• TN: 75 hours of training including 16 clinical hours within first 3 months; qualified for basic services.
• CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire
• 6+ months of home care experience
• Ability to work flexible hours and independently

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, and medication reminder
• Support household tasks, meal preparation, and accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed
• Monitor and document client condition, vital signs, and incidents; maintain confidentiality and use EVV system
• Ensure a safe environment, operate medical equipment properly, and respond promptly to client needs
• Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client
