Job summary

Optum's Elk Valley division is hiring a Per Diem Aide to provide compassionate at-home personal care and daily living support, enabling clients to remain in their own homes. You will assist with bathing, grooming, meal prep, and accompany clients to appointments while monitoring health and maintaining confidentiality using EVV systems.

A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required in Tennessee.

Qualifications

Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities.
Monitor and document client condition and vital signs; use EVV system.
Maintain confidentiality and safety in home settings.
Ability to work flexibly and independently.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, and medication reminder
Support household tasks, meal preparation, and accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed
Monitor and document client condition, vital signs, and incidents; maintain confidentiality and use EVV system
Ensure a safe environment, operate medical equipment properly, and respond promptly to client needs
Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client
