Job summary

Elk Valley, a part of LHC Group, is seeking a Per Diem Aide to provide personal care and assist with daily living activities in clients' homes. You will support household tasks, prepare meals, and accompany clients to appointments, while monitoring conditions and documenting data using EVV systems.

The role requires a current driver’s license with reliable transportation, TN training hours, and potential CPR certification within 90 days. Flexible hours and independent work are valued traits.

Qualifications

• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation or access to public transit
• TN: 75 hours of training including 16 clinical hours within first 3 months; qualified for basic services
• Current CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire
• 6+ months of home care experience
• Ability to work flexible hours and independently

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, and medication reminder
• Support household tasks, meal preparation, and accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed
• Monitor and document client condition, vital signs, and incidents; maintain confidentiality and use EVV system
• Ensure a safe environment, operate medical equipment properly, and respond promptly to client needs
• Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client
