Job summary

Elk Valley, part of the LHC Group and within the Optum family, is seeking a Per Diem Aide to provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities in clients' homes. You will monitor clients, document vital signs, and support household tasks while ensuring safety and confidentiality.

Requirements include a valid driver's license, TN training hours, CPR (or within 90 days), and 6+ months of home care experience. Flexible hours and independent work are expected.

Qualifications

• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation or access to public transit.
• CPR certification is preferred or ability to complete within 90 days of hire.
• 6+ months of home care experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours and independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, and medication reminder
• Support household tasks, meal preparation, and accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed
• Monitor and document client condition, vital signs, and incidents; maintain confidentiality and use EVV system
• Ensure a safe environment, operate medical equipment properly, and respond promptly to client needs
• Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client
