Job summary

Elk Valley, part of the LHC Group and UnitedHealth Group family, is seeking a Per Diem Aide to provide personal care and support for clients at home. Responsibilities include daily living activities, transportation assistance, and documenting conditions in an EVV system.

The role requires a TN training plan and the ability to work flexibly in various home environments, with CPR preferred and home care experience valued.

Qualifications

• Current driver''s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation or access to public transit.
• TN: 75 hours of training including 16 clinical hours within first 3 months; qualified for basic services

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, and medication reminder.
• Support household tasks, meal preparation, and accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed.
• Monitor and document client condition, vital signs, and incidents; maintain confidentiality and use EVV system.
• Ensure a safe environment, operate medical equipment properly, and respond promptly to client needs.
• Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client.
