Rochester Regional Health is seeking a HIM Records Management Specialist to oversee the integrity of document scanning, indexing, and storage. Located at Unity Hospital with coverage at United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia, this per diem role supports the Health Information Management department and ensures compliance and data accuracy.

Competenze

HS Diploma or equivalent required.
1–2+ years in Health Information Management or healthcare setting.

Mansioni

Maintains quality, accuracy, accessibility, and security of medical records in paper and electronic systems.
Prepares and scans medical records according to policies.
Indexes scanned documents according to policies and data integrity guidelines.
Conducts quality checks and audits for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
Reviews and corrects flagged documents per scanning policies.
Collaborates with the scanning/indexing vendor to correct errors.
Provides cross-coverage support for other areas as needed.
