Job summary

Garnet Health Medical Center-Catskill is seeking a HIM Specialist to join our Health Information Management team. You will reconcile receipts of medical records, prepare, scan and index charts while ensuring completeness and compliance with hospital policies and accrediting standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; courses in medical terminology preferred
• At least 1 year working in a HIM department preferred
• No certification/registration required
• Physical ability to sit most of the time with occasional standing/walking; ability to lift 25 lbs
