Job summary

UnitedHealth Group – Elk Valley, part of LHC Group, Alabama, is hiring a Per Diem Aide to provide in‑home personal care and support so clients can stay in their own homes.

Primary duties include assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility, meal preparation, and medication reminders; documenting client condition and vital signs; maintaining safety and using EVV; flexible hours and independent work; CPR certification preferred and 6+ months home care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, and medication reminder.
• Support household tasks, meal preparation, and accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed.
• Monitor and document client condition, vital signs, and incidents; maintain confidentiality and use EVV system.
• Ensure a safe environment, operate medical equipment properly, and respond promptly to client needs.
