Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Cardio Progressive Care Telemetry Unit at the New Brunswick campus. The PD RN will provide skilled nursing care to cardiac and telemetry patients in a busy 34-bed unit.

Responsibilities include monitoring patient status, administering medications, collaborating with the care team, and ensuring safety and quality of care. NJ RN license, BLS/ACLS, and 1 year of RN experience preferred; orientation provided.

Qualifications

• ASN or Nursing Diploma required.
• At least 1 year of RN experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards.
• Ensure safety and apply evidence-based practice.
• Supervise and direct delegation to team members as needed.
• Collaborate with other care providers to meet patient needs.
• Prioritize care with measurable outcomes and continuous improvement.
