RWJBarnabas Health is seeking an RN for the Telemetry Float Pool at the New Brunswick campus. The role supports patients with telemetry or medical-surgical needs, focusing on safe, evidence-based care and collaborative teamwork.

Active NJ RN license with BLS is required; 1 year of acute care or telemetry experience is preferred. The position offers a Part-Time Day Shift from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., with weekend and holiday rotations.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing strongly preferred or to be completed within 5 years of hire.
• National Board Certification and ACLS preferred or obtained within 6 months of employment.
• 1 year of acute care or telemetry or medical-surgical RN experience strongly preferred.
• Epic EMR familiarity is expected.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes.
• Administer medications and provide hands-on care with sound clinical judgment.
• Collaborate with physicians and advanced providers to support timely care decisions.
• Educate patients and families clearly and compassionately.
• Document accurately in the EMR to promote continuity of care.
