Job summary

Morrison Foerster is seeking a Technical Manager for the People Team to lead and build the firm’s people technology ecosystem. You’ll own the vi by Aderant platform, connect Workday to downstream systems, and work hands-on in .NET to support data flows across HR and talent functions.

You’ll design integrations, manage architecture, and collaborate with HR stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable tech solutions. Strong leadership and cloud/CI/CD experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field; 5–7 years in software development or systems integration.
• Strong .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core) development experience and API design skills.
• Experience building integrations with Boomi, Intapp, or similar iPaaS platforms; REST/SOAP/OAuth.
• Proficiency with SQL Server, stored procedures, and data modeling.
• Understanding HR/talent processes and stakeholder collaboration.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, and deployment practices.
• Preferred: hands-on admin/ customization of vi by Aderant.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain integrations between Workday, vi by Aderant, and other systems.
• Own the vi by Aderant platform configuration, upgrades, and vendor coordination.
• Develop custom apps and APIs in .NET to support data flows.
• Maintain SQL Server databases and automated data workflows.
• Lead and mentor team members; collaborate with HR and talent stakeholders.
• Define end-to-end SDLC standards and ensure secure, scalable deployments.
